What we collect
When you request a quote we collect what you give us: your name, phone number, suburb, a description of the job, and any photos or email address you choose to include. We use it for one thing — quoting and doing your job. We don't sell it, rent it, or add you to marketing lists.
Phone calls
You call Peter's mobile directly. We don't route calls through a call centre and we don't record them. If we miss you, we call back.
When you tap Call or Text
If you tap a call or text button on this site from a phone, we get a short alert telling us which page you were looking at, so we can be useful the moment we pick up. It doesn't carry your name, number or location — though of course, once you call, we see your number like anyone would. We only send ourselves one of these, not one per tap. The alert reaches us through Telegram, an overseas messaging service, the same way quote requests do.
Website analytics
We use standard analytics (Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand how people use this site — pages visited, buttons tapped. Google Analytics gives your browser a random ID so it can tell repeat visits apart; it doesn't carry your name, and we only ever look at the totals. We don't use any of it to work out who you are.
Storage and access
Quote requests and call alerts reach us by email and by Telegram, where they stay in our message history. Quote requests are kept as long as we need them for the job and our record-keeping obligations. Our Telegram group includes the contractor who looks after our website and advertising. To see or correct information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, call 0412 870 039.
